INDIE SPOTLIGHT – NAIL THINS

NAIL THINS

If you are a decal diva like I am, you appreciate those simple steps to getting cute nails even if you’re not versed with brush skills. However, some decals can cost upward of $20 or more with only a few overdone accent pieces. This is why I love Nail Thins, you get 20 decals for the price of $4. Plus it’s a company in Washington owned by the lovely Jenny D. (yay girlboss!) They have giraffes, pugs and even reindeer for the holiday season.

NAIL BUTTER – LEMONGRASS [$24]

I received this product in a goodie bag for the Modest Truth Launch Party yesterday and I was super excited. Not only was it an indie product, but I have been lacking in the nail butter department lately! I will give a full review once I have used this product a couple of time. With that being said, I am completely in love with the packaging of this product and you can click on the link about to try it out yourself!

PEPPER POT POLISH – $9.50

This indie nail polish company is based in Tacoma, Washington launched by a wonderful entrepreneur who turned her passion project into a profit.

Pepper Pot is a favorite of mine on the indie nail polish scene mainly because of the rich shades and powerful pigments. Pepper Pot doesn’t just have nail polishes, but moisturizers, eyeshadows, lip glosses and cuticle oils to make any Varnishta drool over it. It’s also a 5-Free Polish line, which gives it an A+ in my book!

Feelin’ Nice [pictured above] is probably my favorite polish from Pepper Pot. So make sure you check out Mackenzie’s shop to browse these amazing colors. Plus, send her some Varnishta love as well!

ESSIE SPOTLIGHT – BALLET SLIPPERS

ESSIE – BALLET SLIPPERS

I know I asked everyone what their favorite Essie polish was but I had to do a spotlight on mine. The tried and true Essie staple has to be their sheer pale pink wonder that is Ballet Slippers. It’s the perfect nude that matches every mood and every occasion. Thinking about it literally brings a smile to my face. The color speaks for itself and is almost as iconic as the “Little Black Dress”.
