HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, VARNISHTAS!

One year ago today I made made my first posts kicking off Varnishta. One year later I am proud to say that we are 390 posts, 2,332 visitors, 3, 976 views and 170 Varnishtas in total. That may not be a lot in the grand scheme of things- but it means a lot to me. For the first year I wanted to get my feet wet with Varnishta and see if I could really dedicate myself to a blog of a certain passion- polish. And I did. Varnishta has become more than I ever thought it could be and I’d like to thank you all for that. I love interacting with all of you and learning about new polishes and people I would have never known a year ago.

So thank you to you all.

YEAR 1 RECAP: FAVORITE VARNISHTAISM

FAVORITE VARNISHTAISM – SUMMER DESERT INSPIRATION [8/28/15]

I have had many favorite varnishtaism moments, but this particular one was special because I got to share with you all my passion for filmmaking. I edited this feature for one of my friends’ travel blogs and found so many colors that matched the SinfulColors “A Class Act” collection. I love sharing the different things I get into with you all so this premiere was special to me. It was fun picking out the colors and showing how they each reminded me of the beautiful colors in Dubai.

What is your passion and how do you express it?

THIS CONTENT HAS BEEN REMOVED – CANDY PAINT

CANDY PAINT – CANDY CRUSHER POLISH REMOVER [$8.25]

While adventuring on Etsy, I came across a wonderful product called Candy Crusher Nail Polish Remover and I had to get it. One, I was running out of remover so I needed another one; and two, I was intrigued by an artisan type remover since I have only ever purchased well known removers before. I have to say I am highly impressed by the Candy Paint brand. While it does take a tad longer than I’d like it to when it comes to removing, as an overall product it is a solid A. It’s hypoallergenic, biodegradable and acetone free- which is my favorite. I know that sometimes when I use removers, my nail beds get a bit itchy depending on the brand. Luckily, I did not have this problem with Candy Crusher.

So I would definitely add this one as a last minute holiday gift for your stockings!
